Not long ago I went to the Usher Art Gallery to see the Colour Love show. To see some of the work there to help with the workshop on colour theory.
There were a few pieces of work to see which obviously featured lots of colour!
What the gallery says - ''The artists in this exhibition use colour in an elemental way; colour is the subject, material and the primary medium of communication in the works.''
I liked some of the work that was showcased ( although there wasn't really much to see ).There were four artists work in the exhibition all of the work linked well together and all seemed to have a very similar style. There was lots of light and shade and various tint, shades and tones included. We did work on tints, shades and tones so now looking at the pieces I can see those are included to create different moods and feelings. The work featured was all photographic and looked like they were produced on a computer, I liked this look and thought the bright photo style effect looked good.
There really wasn't much to view at the exhibition unfourtunalty I think if there had been more to look at then it may have been a better and more helpful visit.

Have a nice day !
